Have you been thinking about running a panel or workshop at RuffleCon 2014? The deadline for applications are coming up on July 1st, 2014. Remember, if you run 3 or more panels for the weekend, you get an All Weekend pass for free!*
To answer this common question we have been receiving, we definitely will accept at-con “meet up” type of panels, such as a BJD, Lolita fashion, knitting, Steampunk, or other interest-specific meetup for an activity or fashion that is popular among our attendees! There’s been some talk of people wanting to host themed meetups (shironuri, BJD collectors, fairy kei, etc) at RuffleCon and we absolutely love that idea! We’d actually like to offer some of our panel-room space to some of the meetup ideas that we’ve seen kicking around. This way the meetups would have a nice space to use and be advertised in the official schedule, and you have the opportunity to meet others with a similar interest as you!
We also are still considering 18+/21+ panels!
For those who have already applied, you will receive word either way about your panel/workshop applications before or on August 1st, 2014. Thank you for applying!
Please submit your panels before July 1st, 2014 to be considered for RuffleCon 2014! We cannot wait to finalize the schedule after receiving so many great panel and workshop ideas already!
*You must present at least 3 or more panels/workshops during the weekend. If you are a no-show to any of your panels, this is voided. Passes are reimbursed at the staff room during the conference after you have presented your panels/workshops.
